Water consumption allowance

Article 9:


GEPB collects the water consumption allowance for each warehouse built according to its area, and on the basis of the quantity of water consumed in the free zone (warehouses and shared sections) divided by the total built areas, and according to the official tariff in effect at the Beirut and Mount Lebanon Water Authority, plus 10% as administrative, technical and maintenance expenses.

Accordingly, the annual allowance for the consumption of water in established warehouses is based on the following table:

As for private courtyards, as well as private warehouses whose activity requires "special water consumption", they are provided with a special meter. Consumption is then calculated on the basis of what the meter records and on the basis of the Beirut and Mount Lebanon Water Authority's tariff for the excess meter of water, with the addition of 15% as administrative, technical and maintenance expenses.
