Annual occupancy allowance for private warehouses

The Port of Beirut Authority charges in advance the annual occupancy fees of established warehouses set out according to the following table:

The Port of Beirut Authority has the right to charge for these allowances in two equal payments.

The occupier shall provide the Port Administration with a cash guarantee in US dollars to ensure compliance with the occupancy conditions.

The guarantee amount shall be equivalent to one year's occupancy rent.
Companies operating six or more warehouses may deposit 60% of the guarantee amount in cash and 40% in a bank guarantee, provided that the bank guarantee is readily available for withdrawal in cash.
